For I have no pleasure in the death of him that dieth, saith the Lord GOD: wherefore turn yourselves, and live ye. -Ezekiel 18:32 KJV
There are some, who believe God is this corrupt, impersonal being. Even friends of mine have states this is what they believe, but then whats the alternative? A life without God? Notice the schools, you cannot pray, you cannot talk about God, and let alone teach about Him in classrooms. So, we see school shootings, pregnant teens, and more continuous mess.
What if what you hear was wrong? What if someone is trying to hide something from you? What if…. God is better than what you heard? What if, its not too late? In reference to God, we read:
Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. – 1 Timothy 2:4 KJV
Does that sound like a God who wants to punish you? Does that sound like One who will burn you in an eternal hell? Oh, I have a post on that very topic that may intrigue you by the way, I’m sure you won’t find it difficult to find on my site here if you are curious (search bar). Does that sound more like One who cares about you? Who wants you to live, and not die? Who wants you to come to the knowledge of truth? ..and be saved?
Yes, to the second part.
You might not want to hear this, but, you’re a sinner. You know what though? I am too. You want to know something more?
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. – Romans 5:8 KJV
Despite your flaws, God loves you, and wants you to (if you used to believe) return to Him. If you were never a believer, you might want to study Bible prophecy. I invite you to take a look around my blog, or leave a comment here. I’d love to study with you. In the meantime, know this:
Therefore say thou unto them, Thus saith the LORD of hosts; Turn ye unto me, saith the LORD of hosts, and I will turn unto you, saith the LORD of hosts. – Zechariah 1:3 KJV
